Reid founded Evoke in 2006 in pursuit of a more human approach to healthcare marketing. As CEO, Reid is responsible for driving Evoke's strategic vision. His unique behavior-based perspective brings a powerful point of view to the table, one that has helped to build some of the most high-profile and breakthrough healthcare brands in the world. Reid actively works with clients to develop rich, insight-driven strategies that drive real change for brand business. Twice named one of the most inspiring people in the life sciences by PharmaVOICE, Reid was most recently named to the Health Influencer 50 by PR Week and MM&M.

Heather is the glue that holds Evoke's performance-driven process together. With more than two decades of marketing operations experience across numerous channels, she has mastered the art of developing and managing cross-functional engagement and delivery teams, development and business processes, and operational strategies.
Chief Strategy Officer
Innovating strategy initiatives with 18 years of global insights As Chief Strategy Officer, Michael oversees Evoke’s integrated strategy and planning practice, and the execution of strategic and analytic programs across all clients. He brings 18 years of experience leading insightful strategy and planning for brands in the US and globally, as well as enterprise-wide engagements. Michael’s work has been focused on health and wellness, working with pharmaceutical and OTC brands, as well as past experience in the cosmetics, packaged goods, and financial services industries. He has worked across therapeutic categories and audiences, and understands how to synthesize research to find the core insights that are central to breakthrough creative. Michael earned an MBA in Madrid at the prestigious Instituto de Empresa (IE).
Chief Creative Officer
Dedicated to inspiring agency partners and clients to think bravely, boldly, and big in an ever-changing healthcare market. Collette is a paragon among creative officers. With 28 years of experience, she’s developed award-winning creative campaigns for all manner of healthcare and pharmaceutical categories, from autoimmune disorders and infertility to ADHD and chronic dry eye. Her breadth of experience contributes to her ability to differentiate products in crowded categories through smart positioning and unexpected creative for both patient and HCP audiences. She has worked on a wide range of key launch campaigns in both US and international markets. Collette’s work has been recognized for creative excellence by the MM&M Awards, DTC Awards, Cannes Lions Health, Rx Club, Philly Addy Awards, Creative Floor, and others. She has served on the Health and Wellness Jury at Cannes Lions Festival.

Growth in business is not a happy accident; it happens through performance and effort. Tom oversees Evoke’s growth across all locations globally. He brings 19 years of integrated healthcare marketing, advertising, and consulting experience to his role as Chief Growth Officer, drawing on his involvement with many of the world's top healthcare companies to help guide Evoke's path forward. His ability to understand the unique challenges facing any engagement and identify the right solution has made him a trusted partner to our clients and our staff. Prior to joining Evoke, Tom led health and wellness agency practices in both New York and Philadelphia.

Jen’s unique ability to champion brands and people is revered by both agency staff and clients alike. As a 2015 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star, she is proud to be a champion of her teams and the passion they demonstrate towards our ultimately healing endeavors. Jen has more than 20 years of agency experience across a broad range of therapeutic categories, spanning everything from rare diseases to some of the industry’s biggest blockbuster brands. Jon was an early champion of multichannel delivery systems, bridging the gaps between legacy advertising business models and new digital agencies. Drawing on his years of experience in market research and his experience on many successful global, regional, and local campaigns, Jon now works to expand Evoke's services across Europe and around the world. David started his tenure of CEO of Evoke KYNE in 2019 following 10 years at the helm of KYNE, a specialty health communications agency with the mission to help improve and save lives. As CEO, he leads a multi-disciplinary, global team working across sectors to develop and deliver innovative communications programs that truly effect change in health. Under David’s leadership, he and his teams have earned multiple industry awards including PRWeek’s Boutique Agency of the Year, PR News Top Places to Work, and PRWeek Global Campaign of the Year for United Against Malaria. In 2018, the Holmes Report named him in the EMEA Innovator 25 list.

For over 20 years, Maryellen has partnered with leading global organizations in pharma, biopharma, diagnostics, and consumer health products. As Evoke's PR & Influence President, Maryellen guides our communications teams in interpreting clinical data to effectively reach and impact both professional and consumer audiences. Her teams have been awarded for their ability to build integrated communications programs that fuse knowledge of science and lifestyles. Most recently, Maryellen was named a "Top Woman in PR" by PR News.
The convergence of media and technology has forever changed the way in which brands and services connect with consumers. New innovations are changing what's possible in reaching target audiences through multiple platforms. As the leader of Evoke's media business, Steve sets the vision for ad tech innovation. He helps develop new capabilities for Evoke, keeping the agency on the cutting edge of technology while negotiating enterprise-wide media partnerships and evolving new business models that help our clients compete and win in today's increasingly competitive media landscape. Steve has been named a media "All Star" by both AdWeek and Media Post.
President, Evoke Navience
In-depth expertise and knowledge of all managed market segments. As President of Evoke Navience, John has extensive background and expertise in developing successful marketing strategies in the market access arena and provides leadership in helping clients navigate the complexities of the changing market access landscape. He is one of Evoke’s key in-house experts in the market access and payer arena, with more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His expertise was earned in part from his years at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Forest Laboratories, where he held leadership roles in market access strategy and payer marketing, including Executive Director, Oncology Payer Marketing, where he led a team responsible for payer marketing and patient advocacy.
CEO, Evoke Giant
Equally comfortable in the creative war room and the boardroom. Steven Gold serves as CEO for Evoke Giant, our San Francisco-based office. Before combining forces with Evoke, Steven co-founded Giant in 2002 and helped the agency grow into the largest independent healthcare marketing agency on the West Coast. Steven began his career decades ago as a copywriter before ascending the ranks of some of the world’s leading consumer and healthcare communications companies. Equally comfortable in the creative war room and the executive boardroom, as our West Coast CEO, Steven works across departments to ensure the agency’s vision is being clearly defined and successfully executed.

Our solutions are founded in insights. Adam is a true healthcare marketing expert, having managed campaigns for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic clients for more than 20 years. As president of Evoke Giant, keeping the agency and its clients on the cutting edge of healthcare communications is a major priority for Adam, who founded the Evoke Giant Strategy Group. This group is charged with informing and enhancing strategies and initiatives across channels to drive brands’ growth throughout the entire lifecycle. Eric offers a unique blend of medical training, marketing expertise, and more than 25 years of healthcare industry leadership. He has worked across therapeutic areas on cross-platform healthcare and pharmaceutical market-related planning and communications initiatives, aligning teams with client objectives. Eric understands the industry and our clients, beginning his career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and later serving as US and Global Medical Marketing Advisor in the Cardiovascular Medicine Division for Boehringer Ingelheim. He has also led patient experience at a healthcare start-up, and continues to use his passion and drive as a valuable partner for new business growth and development to clients and our teams.

Beth’s incredible track record, team-building acumen, and infectious positive attitude are just a few of the talents she brings to her role at Evoke. As Group Managing Director for our Philadelphia and Chicago offices, Beth aids in the development of our client engagements and leads the agency in executing on client objectives. To this end, she employs a remarkable understanding of what resources a client will need at just the right moments, drawing on years of both client-side and agency experience in the healthcare industry. Beth’s hard work pays off—she was recognized by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) with the HBA Luminary award in 2016. It's all about effectiveness-ensuring that our work changes behaviors and makes a positive difference for our clients' brands, as well as the audiences that we reach. With a degree in Cancer Biology and Immunology, Beth began her career at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust, where she gained first-hand experience of the complexities of healthcare. After discovering the world of communications, she completed a postgraduate diploma in marketing and has since partnered with clients in a number of senior strategic and client services roles. As Managing Director of Evoke's London office, Beth draws on her experience to inspire teams, ensuring that audience needs are always at the center of what we do, and that the campaigns we deliver for our clients will drive results for their business.

As Evoke's Managing Director, PR & Influence, Stephanie helps expand our global offerings, customizing account teams and services to support client needs and drive business development.
SVP, Science & Medicine
Bridging the gap between high science and marketing. Dr. Brian Whalen completed his doctorate in Neurobiology at Harvard University and his BA in Biological Sciences from Columbia University before moving into scientific director and medical strategy roles at a number of health-focused agencies. With expertise in peer-to-peer medical education and advertising, Brian leads a team of medical directors and writers who coordinate with Evoke's staff and clients to align medical relevance with overall brand strategies. Brian and his team play a critical role in defining content strategy and facilitating content execution, from inception through the medical/legal/regulatory approval process.
Chief Creative Officer, Europe
Applying creative strategy and creative solutions through a global lens to deliver the right creative experiences. As Evoke's Chief Creative Officer in Europe, Martin is responsible for conceptual and creative development, as well as the overall creative process across clients. With a diverse, multi-channel background, Martin brings more than 15 years of creative agency experience and over a decade working specifically within healthcare markets. He has worked across every phase of a brand's lifecycle globally, regionally, and in local markets, and understands the need to adapt creative for each situation. His exemplary creativity in the healthcare marketing space has earned him a host of Gold and Silver awards from EPICA, IPA-Best in Health, The New York Rx Show, the PM Society Awards, and the Globals. Martin's high expectations and exemplary ideas demand the best creative talent, which he helps develop in Evoke's global specialist teams who work collaboratively to produce film, multi-media, radio, print, and digital solutions for healthcare and pharma clients around the world.

Champion of sound strategy, big ideas, and a rich creative environment. Emily’s roots are in the digital space, but her strength as a creative leader lies in her ability to create strong conceptual ideas and pull them through any medium. These skills have earned her lead creative roles for the full AOR launch of some of the biggest brands in the industry. She knows that the best work is born out of sound strategy and a rich creative environment where ideas—and people—can thrive. Emily has almost 20 years of multi-channel experience, delivering creative on integrated campaigns and has worked with a variety of healthcare and pharma clients, including Allergan, Alphaeon, Acadia, Celgene, DSI, and Gilead.

For JC, it's all about searching for that simple, elusive idea that can be the foundation for building a great brand. After all, simple ideas are what truly enable brand stories to be effortlessly told across platforms and audiences for maximum impact. With more than 20 years of experience in general and consumer healthcare advertising, this quest has yet to slow JC's ambition or dull his curiosity. And the emergence of innovative new technologies in healthcare, groundbreaking therapies, and a creative department teeming with super-talented storytellers, have only fueled his passion to continue producing the best work in the industry.

In healthcare, you need to be really creative about how you’re being really creative. Andy sees creative challenges as creative opportunities. For over 20 years, beginning as a copywriter and now as Executive Creative Director, Andy has dug deep into his clients’ marketing challenges, listened to the audiences’ stories, and developed insightful, breakthrough campaigns rooted in distinct brand truths. As a result, Andy’s work has been recognized inside and outside the healthcare industry by DTC, MM&M, Cannes, and the ADDYs. No matter how complicated the challenge, Andy will dare his teams and clients to use creativity to change the game.
Executive Creative Director
Working to help pharma brands benefit from cross-strategy thinking, creative ideas, and technology. Dave has spent his career in creative advertising and technology, leading both big network agencies and small shops with two key goals in mind: developing top-notch creative talent and driving the product to be the best it can be. His years of agency experience have taken him from Madison Avenue to Europe and back, and has given him the opportunity to work across many therapeutic areas and indications in the pharmaceutical space, from acid reflux to atypical antipsychotics. As a tech-savvy creative, Dave previously co-founded a technology startup to help seamlessly support resourcing at, of course, advertising agencies. His love of science, medicine, creative advertising, and his entrepreneurial spirit led him back to agency life, where he gets to do what he does best.
Technology is only powerful when you see it as the tools to build, not the box with limitations. James started building websites more than two decades ago, managing his own Web development company for more than 10 years before joining Evoke. Now, for the past 12 years, he has led Evoke's in-house technology team while often serving as a lead client interface for technology-related projects. Through all of this time, James has remained dedicated to staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, whether building out a website or helping clients integrate multiple technologies to achieve their business objectives. He ensures his teams are flexible, with proven chops in a variety of platforms and programming languages to guide clients toward practical solutions, whatever the challenge may be.
EVP, Commercial Strategy
Brands must be smart and focused, but to grow the client business they must be transformative. After spending a decade working in national politics, Britt transitioned into healthcare advertising leading brand and business strategy for numerous major national advertising campaigns. As EVP, Business Transformation at Evoke, she directs a diverse and experienced team with strategic responsibilities that range from defining high-level brand strategies to identifying brand solutions that respond to the evolving internal and external realities of healthcare marketing and client needs. Britt ensures her team is driving the execution of cutting-edge business strategies and ultimately driving growth for clients.
